With the leaves falling and Pumpkin Spice Lattes selling, a lot of folks are getting ready for Halloween. However, there’s something spookier lurking in everyone’s lives. It’s the growing risk of a cyber-attack! Good thing that October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCASM).
Started by the Dept. of Homeland Security in 2004, the NCASM campaign seeks to teach people how to make the internet safer. This year, it focuses on knowing where your data lives and taking steps to protect it.
