WorkSmart Press Release – Lunch and Learn Success

WorkSmart has Exceptional Turnout at First Lunch and Learn

Research Triangle Park NC – WorkSmart, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, recently cosponsored a lunch and learn with Microsoft Corporation that resulted in over forty guests in attendance. The event highlighted the benefits of using Office 2007 and SharePoint services to maximize collaboration and communication within teams and organizations, leading to superior productivity.

Informative presentations were given by Matt Healy, WorkSmart’s Senior Account Executive, and Soumen De, Microsoft’s Tele Partner Technology Specialist. WorkSmart’s technical expertise was evident throughout the session,” said Chris Dehazor, a sales representative with ONSITE3. “I sent an email to our IT Director saying I have to have Office 2007.”

As a result of the Lunch and Learn’s success, WorkSmart has scheduled a second, more extensive presentation for December 13, 2007. The Works ’07 will feature an onsite tour of the Microsoft Truck, which is fully equipped with the latest innovations including state-of-the-art software and hardware solutions from Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and others. More information on Office 2007 and SharePoint Services will be available, as well as break out sessions from WorkSmart partners HP, SonicWALL® and AltiGen.

“I’m excited by the great response we had to our first ever Lunch and Learn,” said Clay Harris, Vice President of WorkSmart. “I look forward to seeing even more people at our future events. The lunch and learn format is a great way for local businesses and organizations to learn about tools and services that have the potential to help them work more efficiently.”
