STATEWIDE NON-PROFIT SELECTS WORKSMART AS TECHNOLOGY PARTNER
Partnership Will Offer Exclusive Discounts on IT Services for Members of the N.C. Center for Nonprofits
DURHAM, N.C. – N.C. Center for Nonprofits selects WorkSmart as an information technology partner.
Through this partnership, WorkSmart will offer a 15 percent discount on information technology (IT) services. This includes discounts on service plans for proactive support of computers and networks. A 10 percent discount is offered for other services such as installation, managed services, and database development.
“We’re pleased to offer our 1,550 member nonprofits across the state the opportunity to save on their critically important technology projects,” said Trisha Lester, vice president of the N.C. Center for Nonprofits. Most nonprofits depend heavily on email, databases, and websites as the most effective tools for
communicating with their clients, donors, volunteers, the public and other stakeholders. This partnership will enable members to save valuable money and time on their technology needs.
To become an IT partner, WorkSmart demonstrated its proven service with the highest levels of accountability and responsiveness with the Center and many of its members. WorkSmart provides managed services, onsite and helpdesk support, computer network design and implementation services, and custom application development.
“It’s our passion to support the non-profit sector,” said Ron Unger, president and CEO for WorkSmart. “Our nonprofit clients have given us wonderful feedback– we are exceeding expectations. Bob Casey, our Durham sales manager, established WorkSmart’s relationship with the Center, and we are very thankful. The people there and their members have been a real pleasure to work with.”
