Scott joined the Charlotte team in 2009 and since then has helped grow the company’s client-base in the region. His colleagues have noted that he’s an effective motivator, as he starts new clients off from a point of “results-oriented positivity;” clients are expecting greatness which requires WorkSmart to perform to that expectation! Since he has a exceptional ability to understand clients’ needs, Scott is able to customize WorkSmart’s services for each particular client. In addition to being a strong contender for WorkSmart’s Salesperson of the Year, he’s also hoping that Cam Newtown (Carolina Panther’s quarterback) is all he’s cracked up to be.

If you could change your name, what would it be to? I like my name but if it had to be changed, I would want it to be James Ashley III, after my father.
Any cool or “hidden” talents? I raced go karts professionally when I lived in Colorado.
If you could be on a TV show, what would it be? The Amazing Race

Favorite Band/Music Artist: I’m a Top 40s guy.
If you have to choose a movie title for your life story, what would it be? Almost Famous
Favorite Hobby: Playing baseball with my son, Cole.
Do you prefer sneakers over flip flops? Definitely not.
If you could be any animal, what would you be? An alligator would be good–sit out in the sun/water all day and relax.
Favorite board game: Battleship
Favorite day of the week and why: Saturday family time
Do you play any musical instruments? Not currently, but I did play the trumpet back in the day.
What is the color of your car? Silver
Can you sing? No
What do you wish you were doing right now? Kayaking at Rum Point on Grand Cayman Island or sailing around the Whitsunday Islands with my wife.
